Terms of service

Last updated 2026-11-07

These terms are an agreement between you and Crewly, operated by an individual developer ("Crewly", "we", "us"), for your use of crewlyhub.com, the web app at app.crewlyhub.com and the Crewly desktop app (together, the "Service"). Effective date: 2026-11-07.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it, and "you" includes that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to let your agents:

4. Agents on your machine

Crewly coordinates AI agents that run on your computer, with the permissions you give them, and can read and change files, run commands, and use tools and connectors you configure. You choose each agent's permission level, which repositories it can work in, and what you approve.

5. Third-party AI providers

Agents use AI tools you install and sign in to yourself, such as Claude Code (Anthropic) or Codex (OpenAI), under your own subscription or account. Crewly is not affiliated with these providers. Your use of them is governed by their terms and usage policies, and you are responsible for complying with them and for any fees they charge. We are not responsible for their availability, output or changes to their products.

6. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you and your agents put into the Service. You give us a limited permission to host, store, process and display it only as needed to run the Service for you and the people you share it with. You confirm you have the rights to the content you upload. We may remove content or restrict access if it breaks these terms or the law.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

7. Beta, provided "as is"

The Service is in beta. Features may change, be limited or be removed, and some described on our website are marked as coming soon and are not yet available. The Service may have bugs, interruptions or data loss, so keep your own copies of anything important.

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

8. Fees

The Service is currently free. We may introduce paid plans or paid features (for example an optional Crewly AI model service). We will give you notice before any fees apply to you, and you will not be charged unless you choose a paid plan.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account in settings at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your use creates risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if we discontinue the Service. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to export your content. Sections that by their nature should survive (including content rights, disclaimers and limitation of liability) survive termination.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Crewly will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or from actions taken by agents, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 US dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your agents' actions or your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws that apply where the operator of Crewly is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live say otherwise. Before starting any formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for material changes we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept them. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms and the privacy policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
